We live in the Anthropocene, where human-made materials, especially plastic, will define future geological layers. Where fossils and organic matter once formed sediment, plastics, industrial waste, and consumer debris will become the new fossils. My work is a personal record of consumption and existence, reflecting how our choices shape the future. As plastic endures, so will my art, serving as a lasting reflection of our time long after we are gone.  www.elisevazelakis.com
